We are extremely proud to have won the Dutch Ecotrophelia competition of 2020! Ecotrophelia is a European food innovation competition that brings together students, teachers, researchers and professionals within the food industry to develop eco-innovative food products of the future.
Our product, Shiitake Biltong is a 100% plant-based meat alternative snack made from sustainably cultivated shiitake mushrooms. The product is high in fibre, a source of protein and high in vitamin D & B6. A traditional South-African flavour is combined with a modern ecological footprint!
